Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

• Is the founding date accurate? CM Polensek confirmed with the City Archivist.
• Why are planter pots being used instead of actual landscaping?
• Is the brick existing?
• Why is there a solar powered led strip incorporated in the signage?
• Can the posts be set a bit wider to allow more visibility for the lettering?  Concerned that the lettering will be obscured because the sign panel is behind the depths of posts.
• How tall is the existing fence behind the sign? 4'
• Sign is a painted background with vinyl cut letters.

Motion to approve with the condition to remove the year, remove the stella d'oro species using a more native species, remove planter beds for a landscape bed, consider lining bottom of sign with the fence rail, slightly widen the post to allow for more visibility, investigate a ground mounted sign within the planter beds.
